I can't seem to find any other instances yet of people having this problem with revit Go to Solution. Solved by chrisccc Despite having a very good system the last 3 versions of Revit have been a PITA to install, I don't know if it's poorly optimized or if it just doesn't like my configuration but inevitably there is some kind of issue and this time it was this. Solution was to do a browser download accessible from the management section of your profile and install it once the full 8. Install software picked up the missing content library and installed it quickly with no issues.
